Ugu Reggae Music Festival

Mayibuye Entertainment supported by the Department of Sport, Arts and Culture through the National Arts Council of South Africa(NAC) is gearing to lighten Up the Festive season of the people of Ugu District Municipality in KwaZulu Natal by bringing the Lucky Dube Band at its inaugural reggae festival entitled UGU REGGAE FESTIVAL.

The Lucky Dube Band has travelled all around the world in
all major cities but has never been to Margate, history is NOW being rewritten by the organizer, Ms Afrika Cele

The band has reunited to continue the mission and legacy of
their iconic frontman, who brought African reggae to the
international stage. With a sound that blends powerful messages of
Love, Unity, Freedom, and Social Justice, the band preserves the essence of Lucky Dube’s music while adding a modern touch for new
generations of reggae fans.
